Katrina Bostick, a proud Savannah native, has devoted herself to the betterment of her hometown. For 13 years, she contributed her expertise to a childcare center, where her work predominantly involved supporting families on the brink of poverty. While pursuing her Bachelor’s in Social Work at Savannah State in 2013, she embarked on her journey at Family Promise (formerly the Interfaith Hospitality Network). This pivotal experience transformed her perception of homelessness, placing a strong emphasis on the needs of children and families.
After attaining her Master’s in Social Work from Valdosta State University, Katrina assumed the role of Executive Director at Family Promise in 2015. Her commitment led to significant changes and progress within the organization. In 2020, she took on the position of Director at the newly amalgamated Family Promise of the Coastal Empire, which merged the Savannah, Effingham, and Bryan County affiliates.
Katrina’s role at Family Promise epitomizes her unwavering passion for aiding homeless children and families, providing them with the necessary resources to carve out independent and fulfilling lives. Her dedication to the community and her impactful work in social services continue to inspire and uplift those around her.
