At Deep Center, we don’t rest on our laurels.
We value a culture of learning—whether we’re talking about our young authors, our staff members, or our writing fellows. We want our programs to be the best they can be, and so we are committed to taking the time periodically to reflect on how we can do things better.
This spring, program director Megan Ave’Lallemant and executive director Dare Dukes are attending the Red Clay Writing Project’s Summer Institute at the University of Georgia.
The Red Clay Writing Project is a local site of the National Writing Project, one of the world’s leading providers of trainings for writing and literacy educators.
We’re so honored and thrilled to be part of this dedicated and smart group of people who care about quality and meaningful literacy work with kids.
